The global market for GT Bicycles is far more reaching than the US. That is why its listed as enduro. NAETMTB.COM will give you a heads up on US enduro racing for 2012. Aeither way its good foe the sport...we need more USA exposure!

Does anyone know who Scott Sharples is? If you dont you may want to look it up. He knows his stuff and has great vision in regards to the future of the industry. I know Scott was involved in the completion of the bike and the target market. If you look around out there not to many bikes have ISCG guides because they werent ever supposed to be bashed into anything in that area. If you want a chainguide run the E13 XCX or something similiar. They lower roller and bash isnt necessary on a lot of these trail bikes. I have been using one for over a year on a Carbon Nomad, along with multiple bikes I have set up for customers. They are less weight and with the new Shimano XTR Shadow + it seems this enduro type trail bike has come around full circle. Quit living in the past w/ old guide setups and pieces these new bikes didnt need. Kinda like the single crown 160+ travel forks. Get on board or dont complain about something you wont ever ride anyways. Intense also is aware of making bikes over seas isnt the way they want to keep selling bikes but if you have to keep making parts ahead of the competition you have to make sacrifices. I dont see anyone complaining about the Carbon V10 which is completely made overseas. Also Trek only makes the top Road bikes, Fuels and Remedy models in the USA. All other carbon bikes are made over seas. Keep the rubber side down

What I dont understand is in their photos they do not show a UST tubeless rim and how well a Tubeless Compatible Tire interface. A square edge bead locks into a UST rim or a UST approved rim diameter for a perfect fit. In the fail position this is a real example of a Stans tubeless system applied to any rim that is not UST. This is why Stans doesnt approve a perfect fit for any match tire on any match rim. With a UST ERTO rim and any UST or TCS, 2Bliss, or TLR tire system is consistent and will fit perfectly for a no fail situation. I will say if you are all about boostin big air and huckin, forget tubeless. If you are a racer and/or want speed, traction and more control go for tubeless. Do not run a Stans system if you like to be agro, you will burp and break your collarbone. If this doesnt make any sense go to www.wtb.com and watch Jason Moeschler and Mark Weir explain why they created a new standard so everyone can have consistency in their tires!

It would be so cool if they compared the VPP and DW link bikes with the same amount of travel so they could explain the unique characteristics of how their sweet spot compares. I love marketing, its almost as glorified as a Specialized. Lets not forget GT makes a pivot which moves around a concentric bearing..quite impressive. :) Apples and Oranges my friends..

If you think this product is lame because you either need to ride your bike more or the bike should have correct angles to start...You are missing it big time. Course variations, riding styles and for differences all make the big bikes ride different. This is one of the biggest innovations since the external BB. I assure you that if you buy a bike in 2011 forward it will come with an angle set or be a part of the preferred build. I know that if you could have it, if it fit in your frame or you actually could ride one and adjust it, you would run it in a second.
